Hillycroft Fisheries announced as finalist in National Awards

Hillycroft Fisheries is really excited to announce that it has been named as one of three finalists in the running for the prestigious title of NFFF Quality Award Champion in the 2020 National Fish & Chip Awards.

Organised by Seafish, the National Fish & Chip Awards have been rewarding and inspiring excellence within the UK’s fish and chip sector for over thirty years. The NFFF Quality Award Champion is just one of 14 categories up for grabs in the national competition. It is an extension of the National Federation of Fish Friers’ quality accreditation scheme – a rigorous industry benchmark that showcases best practice in the fish and chip industry.

To reach this stage, we had to show that we met the NFFF’s quality benchmarks, which included assessment of the overall quality of premises, working practices, key ingredients, cooked products, hygiene standards and staff training. We also had to demonstrate how we promote the values of the Quality Award to you, our customers.

The overall winner of the award will be announced at a ceremony in January. Wish us luck!
