Hillycroft Fisheries welcomes new owner

Hillycroft Fisheries would like to welcome Rafael Chandler as its new owner. Raf took over the business in September 2018 following the retirement of its previous owner Gary Womersley who owned the business for around 15 years.

Raf brings a wealth of knowledge to the business having been involved in the fish and chip industry for over 18 years. His previous business was a multi-award winning fish and chip takeaway in Farsley, Leeds which he ran for over 10 years, recently selling to acquire Hillycroft Fisheries. Raf has previously been a trainer and regional director for the National Federation of Fish Friers, and a trainer for Florigo Frying Solutions, one of the leading frying range providers to the UK.

Raf said, “I am very much looking forward to working in Morley, meeting all my customers and getting to know my new dedicated and highly passionate team of staff. I love supporting local events, sports teams and charities and welcome any of our customers to contact me should you have any opportunities you feel we can help with.”
